She served as President, Artist Series Chair and in many capacities through the years; she has performed with Duo-Piano Ensemble. Her devotion and dedication to the purposes and ideals of the Club inspired her to write a book of history of the Tuesday Musical Club for the Hundredth Anniversary. Marian possessed a strong love of learning, and in 1990 she earned a B.M. degree in piano performance, Magna Cum Laude, and in 1996, she earned a M.M. degree in piano pedagogy at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
