Carmen J. Cappiello, 84, of 20 Rocky Top Road, Ridgway, PA died at Highland View Health Care in Brockway, PA on Saturday, December 17, 2016 evening following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 13, 1932 in Ridgway, PA a son of the late Patsy "Patrick" and Jenny Vecchiarella Cappiello.
On February 7, 1959, in St. Leo's Catholic Church, Ridgway he married Mary Jean Eagen, who survives.
Mr. Cappiello graduated from Ridgway High School in the class of 1951.
After graduation he attended Lock Haven State University. He played football in College.
He worked at his parents stores, Patsy's Shoe and Clothing, in Ridgway & Johnsonburg before opening The Male Shop in Ridgway which he operated, over 30 years, until his retirement in 2005.
Surviving in addition to his wife Mary Jean Eagen Cappiello; two daughters, Mary (Steve) Piurkoski and Carin (Josh) Wickett, Ridgway; three sons, Patrick (Carla) Cappiello and David (Karen) Cappiello, Ridgway; John "Bo" (Fuzzy) Cappiello, St. Marys; seventeen grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter; two brothers, John Cappiello, Naples, FL and Pat Cappiello, Mentor, Ohio;
He was preceded in death by his parents, Patsy and Jenny Vecchiarella Cappiello; two, sons in infancy; and a brother, Rocky Cappiello,
There will be No Visitation.
Burial will be in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Ridgway, PA

Charlotte Irene Pittman, age 79, of Alexa Drive, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away at Clark Regional Hospital in Winchester, Kentucky on Monday, March 26, 2018. Born in Gallipolis, Ohio (Gallia County) she was the daughter of the late John Parmley and Sylvia Jane Eblin Porter.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her companion, Arthur Pelfrey and by two sisters: Elnora Rognon and Verlon Ritchason.
Charlotte is survived by one son, Walter (Kathy) Pittman of West Union, Ohio; one daughter, Christina Williams of Owingsville, Kentucky; four sisters: Annabelle Baker of Bakersfield, California, Marilyn Inman of Zanesville, Ohio, Linda Brown of Bradenton, Florida and Shirley Furst of Gallipolis, Ohio; three grandchildren: Charles Williams, Christopher Williams, Jr. and Chase Williams; one special nephew Dave Inman, Gallipolis, Ohio and several other nieces and nephews along with seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Noon on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Hearne Funeral Home Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky.
Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Clay City-Eaton Cemetery

COLUMBUS, OHIO - George Foley Nekervis, age 62, died on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, in the Crown Point Care Center in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born in Gary, Indiana on Oct. 27, 1942, the son of Robert J. and Genevieve (Foley) Nekervis. He moved to Columbussoon thereafter, graduated from University High School in 1960, and earned a B.S. in Education from The Ohio State University in 1966.
After teaching in the Columbus Public Schools, George followed his love of skiing; becoming the General Manager of Peek'N Mountain ski resort in Pennsylvania and Snow Trails and Mad River Mountain ski resorts in Ohio. Following his move to Madison in 1973, he joined the Headco Division of Dewey Electronics and developed snowmaking installations across the U.S. and Japan.
He later co-founded Ski View Corporation and served as its Vice President. Following the sale of Ski View, George purchased and operated the Lancaster Liquor Locker in Fairfield County, OH.
George is survived by former wife and dearest friend, Karen Craig Nekervis; father, Robert James Nekervis of Avila Beach, Calif.; daughter, Erin DuMars Nekervis of Chicago, Ill.; son, Robert James Nekervis II of Powell, Ohio; sister, Robertine Ann Freshwater of Eagle Harbor, Michigan; a brother-in-law, Paul Ross Freshwater; a nephew, Ross Foley Freshwater of Chicago, Ill
A celebration of his life will be planned in the near future.

LIMA — Ms. Linda Jean Mills, 66, passed from this life on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at approximately 1:56 p.m. at Dublin Methodist Hospital in Dublin, Ohio.

She was born on August 10, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to the union of Percy and Rosie M. (Travis) Mills; both parents preceded her in death.

Ms. Mills retired after many years of employment with General Dynamics. She loved to fish, shop and had a keen sense of fashion. She was an active member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory a son; Ronnie L. Smith, Jr. of Columbus, OH. A daughter; Rokeisha A. Mills-Wood (Delbert) of Columbus, Ohio. 4 grandchildren; Tyiesha C. Mills, Denzel L.T. Mills, Jimesha U. Mills, MiKahi S. Smith and 2 great grandchildren; Denzel T. Lyles, Jr. and Jordyn Dungy-Mills.
A beloved sister; Bessie M. Smith of Lima, Ohio. 2 sisters-in-law; Eileen Mills of Lima, OH and Ruthy Mills of Orlando, FL.
A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter; Tikela C. Mills; 3 brothers; Stanley E. Mills, Charles E. Mills and Eddie E. Mills.

Carlee Juanita Hale (Nichols), age 82, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away, Friday, January 27, 2006. She was born on November 24, 1923 to Carley Douglas Hale and Beatrice Laola Gillmore (Hale) in Mart, Texas.

Carlie enjoyed needlepoint, music, dancing, landsaping her yard and beautiful plants and flowers. and watching and feding birds. Her love of life was contagious. Her greatest love and enjoyment was family and family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ace Elliot Nichols; brother, Clifton Melvin Hale; and sister Verna Mae Hale (Davis). Carlee is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Joan And Bobby Lynn Klawetter of houston and Kay and Barton Couch of Austin; grandchildren Nicholas, Katherine and Zachary Klawetter and Carlee and Samatha Couch and nephews and cousins.

Carley Douglas Hale was born on April 5, 1896. His Parents were Stephen Douglas Hale & Lenora Belle West from Christian County, Kentucky. Up until he was 21 years old he had worked on a farm. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War I on Jun 5,1917. In the 1920 census he was living as a border in Robinson Springs, Comanche, Texas working on an oil field. He married Beatrice Laola Gillmore on Nov 11,1921. He was only 40 years old when he died of Tuberculosis.

They had three children.

Clifton M. Hale
Clifton M. Hale. a Waco construction company supervisor, died Wednesday at his home. He was 69.
Graveside services will he at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Waco Memorial Park. the Rev. J.A. Haley officiating.
Mr. Hale was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Mart, where he was a graduate of Mart High School. He married Faye Rose in 1953. in Waco. Mr. Hale was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He also worked for Young Bros. Construction Co. for 32 years and retired in 1984 as purchasing agent supervisor.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Suzanne Newfield of Heidelberg. Germany; two sons, Timothy Hale of Fort Knox. Ky and Patrick Hale Sr. of Fort Ord Calif. two sisters, Carlee Nichols of Belton and Verna Mae Davis of Alvin: and four grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 tonight at Wilkirson Hatch Funeral Home.

Warren Burean Tynes was born on July 29, 1927 in Waco, Texas. His parents were Clarence Burean Tynes and Thelma Ludean Howard. He married Laura Lee Marks. They had two children.

Warren Burean Tynes, 69, of Woodway, went home to Glory on July 17, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 am Monday, July 19, at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Dave Arden and Rev. Mark Freeman officiating. There will also be a Memorial Celebration at 1 pm Sunday, July 25 at Connolly Compton Funeral Home with lunch following at the Tynes home,
Mr. Tynes was born on July 29, 1927, to Clarence Burean Tynes and Thelma Ludean Howard Tynes in Waco, Texas. Warren was a Christian; a Charter member of First Baptist church of Woodway. He served US Navy during WWII. He is a Shriner and a Mason. He and Laura Lee Marks were married in 1947. He is a 1945 graduate of Waco High School and a 1950 graduate of Baylor University.
Warren served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Harvey Advertising Co, dba Harvey Daco with offices in the DFW Metroplex, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and home offices in Waco for over fifty years. In 1972-73 he served as Chairman if the Board of Specialty Advertising Association International.
He is survived by his wife, Laura, of 52 years; a daughter Pamela Kreuzburg and Clay Boon Tynes, He is also survived by one aunt, Annie Amelia Schulz Tynes and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Jackson Walker, Kishiko Busby. Woodrow Carlile, Melton Connell, Tom Davis, Chuck Davis, Bo Carroll, Larry Williams, Herb Skoog, Wayne Blackshear, Richard Blackshear, Clyde Martin, Rusty Hicks, Steve Puckett and Larry Toungate.

Graveside services for Thelma Ludean Howard (Tynes) of Waco were at Rosemound Cemetery with Brother Joel A. Haley and Dan McGee officiating.

Thelma Ludean Tynes died March 2, 1991. She was 84. She was born Sept 6, 1906 in Axtell to Father: Charles Ernest Howard and Mother: Lillie Mae Hancock.


She married Clarence Burean Tynes in 1926 and he died on 01 Jul 1987.

Thelma Ludean Tynes was an employee of Texas Textile Mills and James Connally Air Force Base. She was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church.

Survivors include: a son, Warren Burean Tynes of Waco; three brothers, A.C. Howard, of Crosby, Clarence Howard of Rosebud, and Billy Joe Howard of Waco; two sisters, Opal Harper of California, and Anna Parma of Waco, two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Connally Compton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Clarence Burean Tynes was born on Feb 18, 1905 in Nacogdoches, Texas. His parents were Calvin Dee Tynes and Sophronia Annie Walker. He worked at the Price-Booker and Company making pickles during the depression era. He married Thelma Ludean Howard. They had 1 son named Warren Burean Tynes born on July 29, 1927.

When the family moved to Waco they moved over near Cottonwood Street in Waco, Texas near Baylor Campus. The Tynes family all worked at the mill and all attended Edgefield Baptist church.

Clarence B. Tynes, 82, of Waco, died Wednesday at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 am. Saturday at the Connally Compton West Waco Drive Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J.A. Haley officiating.
Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Tynes was born Feb. 18, 1905, in Nacogdoches and moved to Waco at an early age.
He was a retired shipping clerk with Harvey Advertising, having previously worked for the Texas Textile Mill and Baylor University. He was a member of Edgefield Baptist. Church.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma L. Tynes; a son, Warren B. Tynes of Woodway; a brother, Ford Tynes of Waco; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will be at 1132 Knotty Oaks Drive. Memorials may be made to the Edgefield Baptist Church.

Joseph Ford Tynes Sr., 81, of 1511 Cleveland Ave., a Waco fireman for 32 years, died Saturday at a hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 pm. Wednesday at Wilkerson- Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev J.A. Hailey officiating. Burial will be at Rosemound Cemetery.
Mr. Tynes was born Dec. 15, I902, in Swift, Tx and moved to Waco, Tx in1905. He worked for Waco newspaper for several years and then worked as a messenger boy from 1918 to 1919. He worked for the Price-Booker Manufacturing Co, from 1919 to 1928.
In 1923, Mr. Tynes was married to Ruby Wakefield. Mrs. Tynes died In 1983.
Mr. Tynes worked as a fireman for the Waco Fire Department from 1928 to 1960 and later was grounds foreman for Baylor University from 1961 to 1964.
He also worked for Royal Pharmacy for several years and was a member of Edgefield Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven daughters; Della May Geltmeier of Fort Worth. Jeanette Doran of Sonora. Imogene Haney of Bellmead, Ruby Fay Newman of Lorena, Gloria Jean Harris of Houston, Mary Loyce Schrader of Salem, Mo. and Margie Ann Tynes of Robinson; three sons, Joseph Ford Tynes, Jr and Wilbur Lee Tynes, both of Waco. and John Garner Tynes of Mesquite; 28 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Bailey Edgar Tynes, Sr was born on January 4, 1893 in Nacogdoches, Texas. His parents were Calvin Dee Tynes and Sophronia Annie Walker. Baileys first wife was Clara Belle Collins. They had two children; Bailey Edgar Tynes, jr and Harold Neff Tynes. Bailey and Clara divorced ( Clara re-married Charles Henry Roberts). Bailey then re-married his 2nd wife Ruthie Jane Burt. Ruthie was previously married to James William Blacksher and they had several children. Bailey and Ruthie had No children together.

He is called "Babe Tynes" on the 1900 census, where his birth month is listed as January 1894

Bailey Edgar Tynes, SR and his siblings were second cousins of Clyde Barrow , the gangster of "Bonnie and Clyde" fame; Bailey's mother, Sophronia Annie (Walker) Tynes/Whatley and Clyde's mother, Cumie T. Walker , were FIRST cousins. Bailey played a key role in the capture of his gangster cousin by gaining Cumie's trust and informing on the Barrows for the FBI.

Marshall E Cooke, 41, died in Providence Hospital at 5:50 am Wednesday of a coronary occlusion. His home was at 3805 Memorial Drive.

Funeral services will he held in Wilkerson and Hatch Chapel at 4 p. m. Thursday, Dr. W. W. Melton officiating and Dr. Forrest C. Feezor assisting, burial in Rosemound Cemetery.

Mr. Cooke was born in Jacksonville, Texas. He has lived in Waco since 1921. He was production control specialist of the James Connally Air Force Base shops, and had previously been with the Veterans Administration and during the war with Waco Army Air Field.

Survivors include his widow, his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Applegate of Waco: a son. Mark McWilliams Cooke and a daughter, Miss Janet Helen Cooke, both of Dallas. a stepson. Wayne Bateman, Waco: three brothers, Jerry B. Cooke, Tulsa. Alex Applegate. Austin. Elving Applegate, Waco; one sister. Mrs. O. W. Tooker. Waco.

Marshall Earl Cooke was born on Aug 19,1911 in Jacksonville, Texas. His Parents were Frank Bennett Cooke and Frenchie May Looney. His first wife was Hazel Helyn McWilliams. They had 1 daughter. The divorced and he re-married Ida Rose Schulz on Jun 6,1948 and they had no children.

Mrs. Schulz was born June 6, 1910, in Wichita Falls, where she attended school. She was married to Julius Schulz in 1934; he died Oct. 21, 1954. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association and Colum-bus Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Judy Sullivan of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Dr. Justin Schulz of Denver, Colo. and Jud Schulz of Spring; six grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.

The family has designated Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center or the individual's favorite charity tot memorials.

Annie Amelia Schulz Tynes (Granny), 100, of Waco, died Saturday, July 20, 2002 at a local nursing facility. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 1124 Washington Ave., with Dr. Dan McGee and the Rev. Albert Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 22, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tynes was born in Weimar, Texas on Oct. 11, 1901. She attended school in Marlin and moved to Waco as a child. She married Alton Dee Tynes in 1918 in Waco. He preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 1975. Mrs. Tynes was the oldest living member on Edgefield Baptist Church; She was also active in the Gurley Home Demonstration Club. She was always eager and quick to help others.
Survivors included her son, Alton Dee Tynes, Jr. and wife, Betty Fay Sanders Tynes, of Waco; grandchildren, Vanessa Dell Tynes Hale and husband, Timothy Michael Hale, of Katy and Kenneth Dee Tynes of Waco; great grandchildren Kristian Dee Tynes and wife, Casey T. Meyers, of Waco, Lindsay Meridith Hale and Kyle Michael Hale of Katy and Cassie Dee and Carrie Dee Tynes of Waco; sisters, Hilda Rubie Smith and Ida Rose Cooke, both of Waco; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Hospice Program.
